Why I Call Myself Vertigo Suite
In 2014, I was diagnosed with vertigo—and not long after, every hidden health issue began to surface. It’s been an uphill battle. I’ve seen specialists, gone through acupuncture and yoga, tried over-the-counter remedies. Even UCLA weighed in, confirming that my condition wasn’t neurological. You don’t argue with UCLA. My personal belief is that its related to my former diabetes problems.
Vertigo reshaped my life. It sidelined my physical freedom—I couldn’t drive, operate machinery, or walk long distances. But I never gave up. Instead, I adapted.
In 2022, most of my health challenges were resolved, and I accepted the rest as long-term companions. That same year, I enrolled in a two-year Audio Production program at Full Sail University. Until then, I was only a musician—I hadn’t touched production or recording software. Now I csan record my own music, and help others shape theirs.
I chose to name my brand Vertigo Suite as an act of recognition. What once disrupted my life ended up aligning it. Vertigo pointed me back toward purpose, artistry, and growth. It humbled me, but it didn’t break me. It gave me direction.
Yes, I live with chronic vertigo. But I will not let it define my limits. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
